Baby Girl has become quite an expert with using chopsticks to eat!! She loves to do this and Daddy loves to give her lots of different kinds of foods to sample!!
In April of 2012, I began relief teaching at EtonHouse International School, in Singapore! (The school where my oldest daughter, PE, attends!) I began relief teaching to earn extra spending money for my upcoming trip to China!! One day the administrator came to me and offered me a job......TEACHING ART! Not READING, not MATH, not WRITING, not SCIENCE, not SOCIAL STUDIES......but ART!! I was excited and overwhelmed. WHY????!!!! I had never taught JUST ART. How do you begin to teach art? What do you tell the children? What do I teach other than painting and cutting paper? What a challenge I was about to undertake......
A dear friend had recently told me, "Good teaching is good teaching. If you are a good teacher, you can TEACH ANYTHING!! You have the skills and the experience, and you understand best teaching practices." "Ok", I thought......maybe I CAN DO THIS! I decided I would engage in this challenge and it would definately be a HANDS ON LEARNING EXPERIENCE!! I was just a little scared......
